Jharkhand: Drunk Man Strangled by Massive Python
In a shocking incident, a man got a huge python wrapped around his neck while his son tries to rescue him.
Many times when a person is drunk, they don’t realize that they have put their life in danger. A similar incident has come to light from a Kitasoti Khurd village in Jharkhand. A video of the same has surfaced online. In the video, a man identified as Birjalal Ram Bhuiyan encountered the python while fishing. In his inebriated state, he wrapped a python around his neck. In the video, Ram can be seen with his neck and head fully enveloped by the reptile. However, the python decided to tighten its grip. The entangled man then screamed for help, prompting his 14-year-old son, Nitish, and his buddies to rush to the rescue.
Nitish and his friends tried to yank the python off of him, but Ram toppled into a nearby river with the python still encircling his throat. They try several more times to free the victim from the snake’s death grip but to no avail. After a 20-minute tug-of-war, Nitish was finally able to free his father, who incredibly emerged from the asphyxiating ordeal (suffocating) with only minor injuries and was treated for them in the village itself. Ram should thank his lucky stars and his son that he’s OK. Last month, a grandmother was swallowed whole by a 22-foot-long python in Indonesia with shocking video capturing the moment her remains were found inside the cut-open beast.
