Kangana Ranaut Leaves Mumbai
Kangana Ranaut meets Maharashtra Governor to discuss the demolishing her office in Mumbai.
Kangana Ranaut’s comments about comparing Mumbai to PoK and not feeling safe in Mumbai had angered many Mumbaikars especially the Shiv Sena party. Last week BMC started to demolish Kangana’s office, a film production company in the Pali Hill area, Mumbai. The BMC has said that there were illegal constructions and that there were 14 rules broken on the site. Kangana said that the BMC demolished her building because the Shiv Sena was angry at her and wanted to take revenge. On Sunday 13 th September, Kangana met Maharashtra Governor Koshyari at Raj Bhavan.
She said that she had told the Governor about the unjust treatment and wanted justice. Kangana said she wants the people who demolished her building to be punished. So that citizens of India and girls will not fear to open their mouth against what is wrong and will have faith in the Indian government. Kangana also met leaders of the Karni Sena. On 14 th September Kangana tweeted that she was leaving Mumbai “with a heavy heart” Kangana said she was terrorized, verbally attacked by leaders, abused, her office was demolished, people tried to break her house and she was surrounded by armed commandos. She said this proves that her comparison of Mumbai with PoK was right. Kangana has filed a complaint in Bombay High Court against the demolition of her office. The court has put the demolition by the BMC and the court has adjourned the matter until 22nd September.
