Karni Sena Offers Rs. 1.11 Crore Reward To Kill Lawrence Bishnoi

Kshatriya Karni Sena offers ?1,11,11,111 reward for the encounter of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, seeking revenge for Rajput leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi's murder.

The Kshatriya Karni Sena has announced a cash reward of ?1,11,11,111 (?1 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand 1 hundred and 11) to any police officer who encounters jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This reward was declared by Raj Shekhawat, the president of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, in a video statement on 16th October 2024.

Shekhawat said this reward was offered to take revenge for the death of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, a respected Rajput leader, who was killed by Lawrence Bishnoi's gang in December 2023. He criticized the government and authorities for allowing Bishnoi to run his gang despite being in jail.

Gogamedi was shot 17 times while drinking tea at his home in Jaipur. His death angered the Rajput community, leading to large protests across Rajasthan, demanding justice.

The police are closely watching the situation to prevent further violence. Bishnoi is currently in Sabarmati Jail in Ahmedabad, facing charges for drug smuggling and other serious crimes.

In addition to this, a political party called Uttar Bharatiya Vikas Sena (UBVS) has asked Lawrence Bishnoi to contest in the Maharashtra elections, praising him as a "North Indian leader."

Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somy Ali recently expressed her desire to talk to Bishnoi to prevent more violence. She asked the Bishnoi community to forgive Salman for unknowingly offending their religious beliefs when he hunted a blackbuck, an animal sacred to them.

The situation remains tense, and authorities are monitoring any developments.
