Lonavala Bhushi Dam Tragedy: All 5 Dead Bodies Found
The Lonavala authorities ended their search & rescue operation in the Bhushi Dam; an avalanche occurred near the Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand leaving everyone concerned.

In the last video, we mentioned that 5 people were swept away by the sudden heavy flow of water. The dead bodies of 3 of them were recovered on 30th June 2024. The search and rescue operation for the remaining 2 was stopped in the evening due to darkness, and authorities announced they would resume the operation the next day, 1st July 2024.
On 1st July 2024, authorities found the dead bodies of the 2 missing children, Mariya Akil Sayyad (9 years old) and Adnan Sabhahat Ansari (4 years old). Sadly, this means that all 5 who were swept away by the current have died.
In other news, a massive avalanche hit Gandhi Sarovar, located just 4 km above the famous Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand, at 5 am on 30th June 2024. Kedarnath is one of the most famous Lord Shiva temples in the world. This year, more than 7 lakh devotees visited Kedarnath in just 28 days since the temple’s opening on 10th May 2024.
Devotees and tourists gathered outside the Kedarnath temple for the morning aarti recorded the avalanche occurring right behind the temple on their mobile phones. The video of a huge cloud of snow sliding quickly towards the temple and stopping after falling into a deep narrow valley has gone viral on social media.
Rudraprayag’s District Disaster Management Officer, Nandan Singh Rajwar, said, “The avalanche occurred near the Chorabari glacier and fell into the valley, but there was no loss of life or property.”
