India's Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju, said the IPL will not be cancelled if the BCCI follows all the rules of the government.

Officials from Mumbai Indians have said that this is a big loss but no one is thinking about money. The safety of citizens is top priority. It is okay if people sit at home and watch the match because people’s safety is important. Also, after the Indian government cancelled visas, the BCCI is now thinking of postponing the IPL from March 29th to mid April.
