Malaika Arora is known for appearing on a number of reality shows, including India's Best Dancer and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Actor-model Malaika Arora was returning from a fashion event in Pune to Mumbai on Saturday 2nd April. She was in her Range Rover and her driver was driving the car and was accompanied by her bodyguard. When they were at the Mumbai-Pune Expressway when a bus and a tourist car collided and hit her range rover. Her driver lost balance and her Range Rover bumped into the three cars on the expressway. 

An MNS leader who was travelling in the same direction took her to Mumbai in his car. She was then admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Navi Mumbai. The Apollo Hospital said in a statement, “Actor Malaika has minor injuries on her forehead; CT scan has turned out fine and she is currently okay. The actor will be kept under observation for the night and will be discharged on Sunday.” 

Apparently, Malla was resting her head on a cushion, which softened the impact of the accident. The local police have registered an FIR and are investigating the matter. Pictures of the car post-accident have surfaced online and it seems to have been a destructive scenario. The car may be in a scary situation but the good thing is that Malaika Arora is safe with only minor injuries. Malaika aged 48 had divorced her husband Arbaz Khan and is currently dating Arjun Kapoor who is 12 years younger than her. She has one son Arhaan Khan. Her boyfriend Arjun Kapoor rushed to her home to care for her. Malaika's sister Amrita Arora and her husband Shakeel Ladak were also snapped visiting her.
