A unique incident happened recently which you must have probably never heard about. This incident happened in Brazil. A man, Diogo Rabelo, got married to himself after getting dumped by his fiancé, Vitor Bueno. Diogo and Vitor got engaged in November 2019 and were going to marry each other in September 2020. However, the couple broke up in July due to differences and a series of arguments. Instead of calling off the wedding, the 33-year-old Diogo went ahead and married himself. He got married at a resort in Itacare, Bahia and all of his friends were a part of his unique wedding. The wedding took place on 17th October but a video where Diogo says "I do" to himself in a mirror is now circulating all over the Internet.
Diogo shared, “Today is one of the happiest days of my life, as I am with the people I love the most in this life. This incidence was a tragedy, but I made it a comedy. I analysed the situation for a month and decided that I had to love myself. I kept the ceremony and 40 of my 50 guests came. The message I wanted to send to people with this marriage of mine is not that of a victim, I do not depend on a marriage to be happy. I do want to marry someone else, and I want to have children, but my happiness cannot depend on that.”
