Man Infected with ‘Green Fungus’ in Madhya Pradesh
A Covid survivor in Madhya Pradesh has been infected with 'Green Fungus' - possibly the first such reported case in the country.

Now there is another new type of fungus. A 34-year-old patient in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore underwent Covid treatment for around two months. He went home and around 10-15 days started experiencing nosebleeds and fever. Doctors were suspected to have contracted the deadly Black Fungus. However, after tests, it was found that he had contracted the 'Green Fungus'. This is possibly the first such reported case in the country. Medication for 'Green Fungus' is different from Black Fungus. It is a relatively uncommon infection and affects the lungs. He has been shifted to Mumbai by air ambulance for treatment.
