A bizarre wedding ceremony took place in Madhya Pradesh, where one man married two women at the same time.
A man in Madhya Pradesh married two women, his girlfriend and a girl chosen by his parents, at the same wedding ceremony. The bizarre wedding ceremony took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Keria village. Sandeep Uike was the name of the man. When he was studying in Bhopal, he fell in love with a girl but his parents did not approve. His parents then found another girl for him for marriage. But since Sandeep was already in a relationship with another girl, the two girls' families started fighting. To resolve the matter, the Panchayat held a meeting and it was decided that if both women agree, they should both get married to sandeep. The women agreed. All rituals and formalities were performed at the Keria village. All three families attended the. The Panchayat said that none of the families had any objection to the wedding. However the Tehsildar of the area said that due to the COVID outbreak couples need to ask for permission from authorities to perform the wedding ceremony. But for this marriage, no permission request was filed. The authorities have said they will launch an investigation into this matter.
