Murder Rate in India Lowest Since 1957
The murder rate in India is at its lowest point since 1963, and with the exception of 1963, it is the lowest since 1957.
Everyday we read the newspaper and there are horrifying cases of rape, murder, theft,
cheating, etc. Now the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) conducted a study and said
that since in 2017 the murder rate in India has become very low.The Murder Rate was the
lowest in 1957 and since then In the last 54 years it was always high now for the firts time the
number of murders in India have reduced. This is according to a study conducted by the NCRB.
The murder rate was very high in 1992 and has been falling ever since. In 2013 there were only
3 per lakh murders in India. In 1992, Uttar Pradesh had 12,287 incidents of murder. 5,743
murders took place in Bihar. The population has grown in these states and rate of murder has
declined.The global murder rates have also fallen over time, many countries around the world
have noticed similar trends with murder rates dropping.
If the Economy is good and the Laws in a country are strong then crime rates are less.
However around the world there are so many financial problems and death penalty is also very
less still this study say that murder rate has reduced.
