NIA Recover Sachin Vaze’s CPU & Laptop From Mithi River
The NIA recovers two CPUs of computers, the number plate of a vehicle, two DVRs, and a laptop belonging to Sachin Vaze from the Mithi river in Mumbai
The NIA had arrested police officer Sachin Vaze on 13th March in connection to the explosive laden scorpio car found near Mukesh Ambani’s house and the death of the owner of the same car. Mansukh Hiren. He will remain in the agency's custody till April 3. People familiar with the case told news company PTI, “Initially, when Vaze was the investigating officer of the case, he got all the evidence in his custody and after Mansukh's murder when he realised that he may be transfrered go to some other agency, he tried to destroy them." When Vaze was in the NIA’s custody, he confessed saying he had tried to destroy evidence in the case against him. Vaze told NIA officials that he had destroyed evidence by throwing them in the Mithi River near Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai. The NIA quickly went to the Mithi River and took vaze along with them.
After Vaze directed 11 divers to several spots, they recovered two CPUs of computers, the number plate of a vehicle, two DVRs, and a laptop among other things. According to officials, These things that have been found are important clues that will help solve the case. Many images of a diver holding a number plate went viral on social media. Journalists somehow tracked the number plate and traced it to a man in Aurangabad. The man’s name is Vijay Nade. Nade was shocked when he received the call from a journalist asking him about his car’s number plate which was found in the mithi river. According to Nade, the number plate was of a car that belonged to him but it had gone missing last year. He said he had even filed an FIR. Every day there is new information and day by day the case is getting more complicated.
