Nita Ambani, wife of the richest man in India Mukesh Ambani has once again launched something and that too at such a large scale. Nita Ambani has set up the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). It was inaugurated on 31st March 2023 and celebrities from India and abroad both attended the event. You must have surely seen pictures of glamorous stars on your social media. The event lasted two days. All the celebrities were fashionably dressed and wearing expensive jewels. B-town celebs like Shahrukh Khan, Alia Bhat, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan. Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas attaneded the event. American model Gigi Hadid, Spiderman actor Tom Holland his girlfriend Zendaya, Penelope Cruz were also present. Visuals from the grand opening event showed Ambani swaying to the music alongside a group of dancers.
The second day saw performance by Alia Bhatt and Rashmika Mandanna on 'Nacho Nacho' at NMACC. Shahrukh Khan took performed on ‘Pathaan’ hit number ‘Jhoome Jo Pathan’ and was joined by Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan. Varun Dhavan called Gigi Hadid on stage and picked her up as well. Nita Amabani has shown his power and invited big international personalties to the event. So what is the NMACC and why is it such a big deal? You all know the MET Gala which is hosted every year in the US to fund the museum. Amabani wanted the same in India to promote Indian art, culture, fashion, etc. This is why she set up NMACC. The NMACC is located within the Jio World Centre in Mumbai's BKC. There is majestic 2,000-seat Grand Theatre - It is a grand auditorium for dance, plays and other performances. Studio Theatre - Has capacity of 250 and is for small and intimate performances. The Cube has a Capacity of 125. This is for workshops, lectures, book readings and other events
The Centre also features the Art House. It is a four-storey and spread over 16,000 sq. ft. It is a museum as per International standards. It will show designer clothes, paintings, information about Indian art, etc. There will be exhibits of finest artistic talent from across India and the world. The expansive venue, which will also open its doors to workshops and educational events. The Cultural Centre will open for public from 3 April with a list of events already lined up. One show daily all 7 days, For which timings are 7:30 Pm to 8:00 Pm (Entry starts at 6:30 Pm & Before 10 minutes Entry gates close, So that show starts on time). The Fountain of Joy shows are being paused till April 2, 2023. Shows will resume from April 3. Bookings will open soon. Speaking on the NMACC, Nita Ambani said, "Bringing this Cultural Centre to life has been a long journey. We were keen to create a space for both promoting and celebrating art, cinema, music, dance, drama, literature, science and spirituality. This is a space where we showcase the best of India to the world and welcome the best of the world to India."
