The Gujarat coast has been put on high alert after receiving information from the Indian Intelligence Agencies regarding Pakistani-trained ‘Commando’ that may try to enter the Gulf of Kutch through the “Harami Nalasir Creek’ area. These commandos have been trained to strike under water as well. The “Harami Nalasir Creek’ is a 22-km long channel that connects India and Pakistan. It is famous for smugglers as they use the creek frequently. It is because the creek changes its course every season. The rules for this creek has been disputed between India and Pakistan. This information has been shared with the State of Gujarat and the Kandla Port as well.
Recently the relationship between India and Pakistan has been very stressful due to J&K. The LOC has been on high alert as well, to make sure Pakistan army and spies do not enter India. Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh had said that the JeM had created a team of terrorists that can travel through water and underwater as well. In Kutch there are very important oil refineries that are owned by Reliance, Adani and Mundra. The Famous Krishna temple at Dwarka is visited by lakhs of tourists every year.
