Paytm Removed from PlayStore for a Few Hours

Paytm was launched a decade ago (10 years) for mobile recharging. Since then they have started offering many services and it is used by many to transfer money and make financial transactions online.
On 18th September Google removed the Paytm and Paytm First Games app from the Play Store. The app was removed because of the addition of the fantasy cricket tournament that was recently included. According to Google Play, this tournament violated its policy as fantasy cricket had real money betting.
Google said, “We don't allow online casinos or support any gambling apps that facilitate sports betting.” Google said that Paytm broke the rules of their policies about betting, this is why the app was removed from Play Store. The Paytm spokesman said that the company had not broken any Google policies. It only had an offer that gave its users stickers, for payments and money transfers, which could then be used to redeem cashback.
But Google said this cashback offer was gambling. He added that Paytm has removed the promotion from its app. After a few hours of being banned, Paytm was again listed on Google play. But the Paytm First Games app was not restored as yet.
