PM Modi Meets Leaders To Discuss G20 Presidency Plans
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an all-party meeting on December 5 to underscore the significance of India’s presidency of the G20.
In our previous video we had told you the news about PM Modi going to Bali to attend theG20 summit. That time he had accepted the gavel and it was announced that India would host the next G20 summit. You can click here to watch the entire video. The next G20 summit will be held on 9 & 10 September 2023 in New Delhi. G20 is group of countries that comprises of the world’s most developed countries with strong economies. Its members are: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the US and the European Union. Its is a matter of pride that India will be hosting the next meeting. Before the official meeting in September 2023, India will be hosting 200 different small practice meetings across the country. These meetings will start this month. This is why Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on 5th December 2022.
Chief ministers of several states, and presidents of various political parties attended the meeting. Modi held the meeting to collect suggestions & ideas from all the leaders for the G20 summit. The ministry of external affairs also showcased a presentation and told the leaders what has been planned for the upcoming meetings and the official meeting in Septemebr 2023.

All the strong Indian leaders were present at the meeting in Delhi. Prime Minister emphasized the importance of teamwork, and requested the cooperation of all leaders. He pointed out that the G20 Presidency would help showcase parts of India beyond the conventional big metros, thus bringing out the uniqueness of each part of our nation. Highlighting the large number of visitors who would be coming to India during India’s G20 Presidency, Prime Minister took note of the potential for promoting tourism and boosting the local economies of the venues where G20 meetings would be organized.
