Punjabi Actor Deep Sidhu Arrested in Red Fort Violence Case

Punjabi actor and singer Deep Sidhu, had been named by the Delhi Police in its FIR in connection with the January 26 violence at the historic Red fort in Delhi. The Police had announced Rs. 1 Lakh prize on any information about actor Deep Sidhu, Jugraj Singh,Gurjot Singh and Gurjant Singh that will help to arrest these individuals. The police also announced a cash reward of Rs 50,000 each for the arrest of Jajbir Singh, Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Iqbal Singh. The Delhi Police had placed such rewards as according to them these persons were responsible for the violence that occured on 26 January and were allegedly involved in hoisting the Khalistan Flag at the Red Fort.
Deep Sidhu denied all allegations of inciting the farmers during their tractor march on January 26. Deep Sidhu has been arrested by the police. Delhi Police still hasn’t disclosed the location from where the actor was arrested.
