Ram Charan who has also starred in the latest blockbuster film “RRR” and Upasana have been married for ten years and have separate life goals. Despite the fact that it was their personal matter, the media repeatedly questioned the couple about having children. Upasana has spoken out on multiple occasions about this. She was always clear that she would have children only when they, as a couple, were ready. However, Actor Ram Charan's wife Upasana Konidela is making headlines after a video of her recent conversation with Sadhguru related to having kids surfaced online where she expressed her opinions about having children. She revealed her thought process and how others react to it. Sadhguru also spoke about it. She said, "I have been happily married for 10 years. I love my life, I love my family but why do people question my RRR." She explained what she meant by RRR as she said, "RRR is my relationship, my ability to reproduce, and my role in my life. There are so many women like me who would want an answer to this."
The Sadhguru said, "If you stay this way, not reproducing, I am going to give you an award. I have already announced an award for all those young women, who are healthy and can reproduce but choose not to. This is the greatest service you can do right now." He added, "Humans are not an endangered species. We are just too many. We are heading towards 10 billion in the next 30-35 years. Man is worried about the environment. Climate change, global warming, etc. If the population is reduced we don’t have to worry about all this.So, it’s good to see women who chose to not reproduce." Following this, Upasana replied, "I would make you speak with my mother and mother-in-law very soon."However, some people have entirely misinterpreted the meaning of Upasana's comments.
One Instagram post shared the same report, mentioning that Ram Charan & his wife are also opposed to having children because it would distract him from focusing on his career. It is also assumed that Upasana chose not to have children due to population control concerns. Upasana in response expressed her dissatisfaction with them, claiming that they misconstrued her remarks about her husband Ram Charan and her not having kids. However, Upasana clarified the situation. She posted a screenshot of the reports on her Instagram account, with the caption "Omg, this is not true.
