A video of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon being surrounded & attacked by a crowd in Mumbai had gone viral on social media. In the viral video, a man had claimed that Raveena’s driver hit his mother, sister, and niece with the car while trying to reverse to park it. when he was walking with them near Raveena's house at Carter Road, Bandra on 1st June 2024’s night. Following which the crowd became angry and it led to an altercation. When Raveena got out of her car to speak to the crowd, she was allegedly pushed and hit. She can be heard saying ‘Please don’t hit me' in the video. In the video, he had claimed the incident happened when he was walking with his mother, sister, and niece near Raveena's house at Carter Road, Bandra on 1st June 2024’s night. He also claimed that Raveena was drunk and she started assaulting the women after stepping out of the car. The video also shows a woman complaining that Raveena and her driver assaulted her and caused bleeding in her nose. On the other hand, Raveena was seen struggling around the people pushing her and wanting to beat her driver. People tried to push her, snatch her phone and pull her hair. On 2nd June 2024, the Mumbai Police announced that during the investigation, they found that Raveena’s car had not collided with anyone and that Raveena was not drunk. They said that the CCTV footage from the vicinity of the nearby building of the spot of incident showed that women were in close proximity to the actor's car but were not struck by it. The police said that no injuries were reported and neither parties have filed a complaint against each other. However, Raveena, her driver, the man, and the 3 women visited the Khar police station and submitted written statements asserting no grievances against each other. Raveena has made no statement on the incident.
