Bollywood has a long term association with drugs and breaking the rules. Earlier, Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested in a drug case and now on 13th June Actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhanth Kapoor has been arrested from a party. He is now under police custody. According to the police report, Siddhant, was at a party at  Park Hotel Bengaluru hotel on 13th June. Siddhanth Kapoor was invited as a DJ at the party. Acting on a tip, police raided the party and sent samples of around 35 guests for the medical tests. Five guests tested positive for drugs and Siddhanth Kapoor was one of them. This is why Siddhanth Kapoor was arrested. 4 more people have been taken into custody. Police also said all five of them will be produced before a court along with Siddhanth Kapoor. It was, however, unclear whether they had taken drugs at the hotel or had come to the party after taking drugs outside.

Earlier, Siddhanth's sister Shraddha Kapoor was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in 2020 in connection with allegations of a Bollywood-drug case after actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. His father is no less. It was 2005 when film star Shakti Kapoor was caught in a controversy where a sting operation carried out on him showed offering a woman help in her career in return for sex. The clip, which was aired on India TV back then, showed Shakti talking to the undercover reporter saying, “I want to make love to you… and if you want to come into this line (film industry), you have to do what I am telling you to do.” He then goes and names three actresses who ‘slept their way’ into films. An actor and assistant director, Sidhhant has worked in more than 20 films. Siddhant Kapoor has acted in movies like "Shootout At Wadala", "Haseena Parkar" and "Jazbaa".

CORRECTION: Siddhanth Kapoor was invited to the party to perform as a DJ.
