You all know about the famous Google. However Alphabet is the parent company that manages Google.
Sundar Pichai (47) an Indian man is the CEO of Google. Now he is the CEO of Alphabet as well. Google co-founders, Larry Page, who is the CEO and Sergey Brin who is the President, will both resign from their post. But they will still be working for Alphabet.
They both wrote a letter which said that, Alphabet and its other companies are working very well. Plus they have no interest in holding management posts. Now Alphabet and Google does not need two CEOs and a President. They both said that from now Sundar will be the CEO of both Google and Alphabet. Pichai will have full control over Alphabet and the companies under its umbrella. He will be one of the strongest leaders in the world.
Sundar’s story is very inspiring. He was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu to a middle class family. His family faced many financial problems. He studied engineering at IIT Kharagpur after where he struggled with his studies. But he never gave up. He successfully passed and then moved to the USA for further studies and joined Google in 2004. He was responsible for creating Google Chrome. Because of him, Google Chrome is number one in the world. This is why he was made the CEO of Google in 2015. Now he is the CEO of its parent company Alphabet as well. The Co-founders of Google said that Sundar is extremely hardworking, passionate and humble. He is the best person to lead the two companies.
