Swiggy Surprises Shahrukh Khan with Tasty Dinner
In a delightful turn of events, Swiggy, the popular food delivery platform, made an appearance during a conversation between Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and one of his fans on Twitter.
Superstar is known for his charismatic on-screen presence, quick wit, and sense of humour off-screen. Pathaan star replied in his witty style, “Kyun bhai aap Swiggy se ho…bhej doge kya?” (Why are you asking? Are you from Swiggy? Will you send food?)
The meal delivery service’s social media account quickly joined the discussion when they left the comment, “Hum hai Swiggy se, bhej dein kya?” on the post. (We are from Swiggy. Should we send food?) The conversation didn’t end there. After a few hours, Swiggy tweeted a photo of seven of its delivery staff members posing in front of Mannat with the remark, “hum swiggy wale hai aur hum dinner leke aagaye.”

According to Moneycontrol, the sumptuous spread included tandoori chicken from Persian Darbar, kebabs from Lucky, pizzas from Hundo Pizza, burgers from GOOD FLIPPIN' BURGERS, Chinese dishes from Royal China, and macrons from Le 15. When asked about his upcoming movie SRK said, his movie Jawaan will release in theatres on September 7th and will also star Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. Founded in 2013, Swiggy is a Bengaluru-headquartered food tech company with wide presence in urban India. Shah Rukh Khan fans gathered outside his home Mannat on Saturday 10 June 2023 to set the Guinness World Record for most people performing SRK's signature pose. Nearly 300 fans of King Khan outstretched their hands in SRK's iconic pose outside Mannat. The Bollywood superstar came to his balcony to join his fans and congratulate them for the feat. Shahrukh also danced to the Jhoome Jo Pathaan song's hook step.
