Tughlaq Road Election Scam
Prime Minister Modi claims that large scale corruption is going on at Tughlaq road. These claims were made amidst the background of Income Tax raids.
PM Modi attacked the Congress by saying that a new scam has emerged- called the “Tughlaq Road Chunavi Ghotala”, where large amounts of unaccounted cash were seized.
He made this claim after income tax carried out raids on MP CM Kamal Nath and his aides, and the unaccounted cash was seized. Out of the many crores, 20 crores were moved through “hawala”, to the head quarters of a political party, from the residence of a senior party official, at Tughlaq Road, New Delhi.
PM Modi, attacked the Congress by saying that corruption was a characteristic of the Congress. He also said, while referring to the raids carried out, that there is a new name for this new scam. It is “Tughlaq Road Chunavi Ghotala”. He went on to say that we all know who lives on that road, without actually taking the name of Rahul Gandhi.
In launching the BJP campaign for Gujarat, Modi said that MPs have now become like an ATM for the congress. He also said that the MP is just a trailer, and that if the Congress comes to power, the entire film of corruption will be complete. He added that the only aim of the Congress was to seek power to loot the people.
He pointed out how the previous governments of the Congress have gone soft on terrorism. He compared terrorism to cancer which has grown in the time of the Congress, and that if this disease is not treated, the person can die.
He said that the BJP has started the treatment for this disease, and that there is no way it can be stopped in the middle.
