UP Girl Raped by Father & SP, BSP Leaders
A 17-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh has accused 28 people, including her father and several political leaders, of raping her.
A 17-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Lalitpur district has accused 28 people of raping her. She has said that her father, many of her close relatives, members of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) have raped her. In her complaint she said that when she was in 6th standard, her father used to show her porn films. One day he had taken her to an empty field where he raped her. He warned her not to tell anyone. He had also threatened to kill her mother if she told anybody. Days later, the girl's father took her to a hotel after school. He gave her snacks filled with sedatives. She then fell unconscious. Unknown men then paid her father and took turns to rape the girl. This went on for many years. SP leader Tilak Yadav, his relatives and friends also allegedly raped her.
Once, the girl had gone to visit her maternal uncle (mama) where she was raped by four of her uncles and her cousins. Her grandmother was also aware of the incident but hushed it up.After years of torture the girl somehow managed to go to the police and file a complaint. She has named all 28 people who raped her and the police have filed an FIR. SP leader Tilak Yadav has said he did not rape the girl and said that if he was arrested he will commit suicide.
