US Votes to Impeach Trump
The US House of Representatives have all voted in favor of impeaching Donald Trump. He is now the 3rd President to be impeached.
Nancy Pelosi is the Speaker of the House of representatives. An anonymous told Nancy that had said that Trump forced Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to help win the 2020 US elections. Trump had asked Zelensky to investigate US Ex-Vice President Joe Biden and his family. Trump wanted Zellensky to find scandalous details about Biden so that Trump could use it to win the election.On 24th September Nancy decided to start an investigation to impeach Trump.
Members of the House of representatives said that Trump of using his Presidential power wrongly. Now the members of the House of Representatives have voted to impeach Trump.Though Trump has been impeached, it doesn't mean he'll be removed so soon.The United States Senate will decide whether he should be removed.According to the US Constitution, a President who has been impeached by the House of Representatives, can still serve as President. So, the Senate has to vote to determine whether Trump should be removed or not.
Trump is the third President in the history of the US to be impeached. The two other Presidents were impeached by the House of Representatives but the US Senate said they did nothing wrong and they continued working.So, it is up to the Senate to decide.
