Was Gandhi's Death an Accident?
A booklet on the life Gandhiji claims that his death was an accident. This has enraged Gandhi followers all over India.
We all know how Gandhiji was shot on his chest 3 times by Nathuram Godse at Birla house in New Delhi.
Recently in Odisha, A two page booklet named ”Aama Bapuji: Eka Jhalaka”on Mahatma Gandhi’s life was published by the Odisha government's Department of Education and distributed to all schools to pay respect for his 150th birth anniversary.But the shocking part of the book comes in the last paragraph that says he died because of an accident.
In the Odisha State Assembly the Congress opposed this and said the CM Naveen Patnaik and his political party the Biju Janata Dal are trying the improving Gandhi's murderer Nathuram Godse Image. They said that the CM should be ashamed of himself and demanded an apology from CM Patnaik for this booklet.MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik said that no one can change the truth about how mahatma gandhi was killed with publishing the book a wrong news has been spread to schoolchildren which is not right for them.
School and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Dash said they have started the investigation and the person who did it will be given a strict punishment . This booklet had made Gandhi’s followers and social activists in Odisha sad and angry.
