Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez announced that they are in a relationship in 2019 after Bezos finalised his divorce with Mackenzie Scott to whom he was married for 25 years. Before dating Bezos, Sanchez was engaged to four others. The couple welcomed 2022 in style with a lavish New Year’s eve party on their luxurious private yacht at an island named St Barts. Bezos shared photos of their "crazy disco party" on Instagram. The party was attended by close friends and family members of Bezos. The 57-year-old Bezos donned a colourful shirt and paired it with heart-shaped sunglasses to celebrate the day. On the other hand, Bezos' girlfriend Sanchez opted for a black ensemble. The party was also attended by Lauren Sanchez's son Nikko Gonzalez.
Bezos' brother Mark Bezos and Tony Gonzalez also attended the party. Bezos shared the photos of the New Year party on Instagram and urged his followers to celebrate this new year, learn from past mistakes and make sure not to repeat them in 2022. "I love you baby. For every reason and no reason," Sanchez wrote in the comments section. During the new year party, Sanchez wore a ring on her wedding finger. This gave rise to rumours that the couple is engaged and may get married soon. However, the couple has not confirmed anything yet.
