The very famous food delivery App Zomato will now buy UberEats. UberEats is a food delivery App which was started by Uber. UberEats has been valued at $400 million.Both the companies are in talks to complete the deal. Zomato may by shares of Ubereats and then control its business. Zomato's CEO Deepinder Goyal met Uber's top executives last month,
People are saying that the terms of the agreement are still being negotiated. The deal will be finalized soon by the end of the year.UberEats was launched in India in 2017. But it did not do very well. It initially offered discounts to attract customers but they could only process 500,000-600,000 orders each day.Meanwhile, Swiggy, Zomato and its other competitors did a lot of business and took more than a million orders every day. Uber tried selling UberEats to Swiggy but the deal did not happen.
